Titolo: Young Spanish Unemployed Go Dutch

They learn to speak Dutch over a period of six months after which they are moved to the Netherlands with a one-and-a-half year health care job contract. Since the start of the economic crisis about 4 million jobs have disappeared in Europe putting the average unemployment level up to 12 percent. Unemployment in Spain currently stands at 26 percent, and youth unemployment at 55 percent, meaning many young Spaniards are leaving their country behind for the more prosperous northern Europe. In 2012 more than 4,000 immigrants to the Netherlands where from Spain, an increase of 25 percent from 2011, and two times as much as in 2007 before the start of the economic crisis. Not only the Dutch but also the German language classes in Spain are full. In Germany immigration figures rose from 400,000 in 2010 to 490,000 in 2012 with the number of Spanish newcomers doubling in the first six months of 2012 to 11,300.
